The 55×5 Method – How Does it Work?

The 55×5 method has gained a lot of attention recently, and for good reason. This powerful technique is known to help supercharge the manifestation process and people experience amazing results. This article explores what the 55×5 method is, the benefits, and how to use this technique. 

What is the 55×5 method?

The 55×5 method is very simple. It involves writing one affirmation down in your journal 55 times for 5 consecutive days. Although it seems very straightforward, this technique is very powerful for two reasons:

This means that you are placing your energy on one idea which helps supercharge the affirmation. This is a really positive sign that you are rewiring limiting beliefs and clearing any blocks you might have around what you’re trying to manifest.

If you do manage to complete the exercise, the chances are you’ve spent at least half an hour every day focusing on your affirmation. Although the 55×5 method is very simple, there are a few steps you can take in order to make sure you do it effectively:

  1. Use a nice pen and journal that makes you feel abundant. I find that using a special journal solely for affirmations and manifestation journaling practices makes the process seem more powerful. 
  2. Create a space that is peaceful and relaxing. You might also wish to light a candle and play some soothing music. A peaceful environment allows you to concentrate when writing your affirmations. 
  3. Choose an affirmation that is powerful, yet concise. As you need to write the affirmation 55 times, it is best that the affirmation is short.   4. Focus on writing the affirmation and try to connect with the energy behind the words. This is the most important part. Try to maintain focus on the affirmation and encourage feels of optimism and excitement. This is where you’re actively working to rewire your subconscious mind.
